Gao Xinmin serves as vice president of the Internet Society of China, member of the Advisory Committee for State Informatization, vice director of the Expert Committee of E-government and Planning Policy, as well as special vice president of the China Information Association. As a senior Internet expert, he has been paying attention to and carrying out research on Internet development for a long time, and has unique insights to Internet applications in enterprises and online marketing. He ever worked as vice director and chief engineer of the Science and Technology Department of National Energy Commission, vice director and chief engineer of the Science and Technology Department of National Economic Commission, and director of the National Information Center. In 1993, GaoXinmin took the position as a member of the Expert Team in the former State Council Informatization Leading Group.
